Equilibrium’s masterful effort ‘Erdentempel‘ takes the show on day thirteen of our advent of the year.

Equilibrium have been an underground fan favourite throughout their years of existence with their unique blend of cinematic score, folk music and metal. The band have only gotten better with each release, and 4 years after their predecessor release, the band release their latest and arguably greatest release, ‘Erdentempel‘.

Every Equilibrium effort has been consistent in staying true to its musical themes and writing style, and each effort can be viewed as a metal score. Nothing has changed with ‘Erdentempel‘, and somehow the band have managed to make each track a standout whilst staying true to the musical assets and themes available to the band on the album.

Each melody is more catchier than the next, every chorus as bombastic, and each hook as folkier. With 4 years to pen the album, fans had high expectations for the latest effort, and Equilibrium have gone above and beyond. If the band needs another 4 years to pen an album like this one, we will happily wait!
