Earlier this year it was announce that Immortal would be no more and that instead Abbath would forge his own path.

Now we see the emergence of new material surrounding the corpse paint flag bearer. Stating that the band will be performing for the first time as a new line at this weekend’s Tuska festival, not only will the band be performing classic cuts like “One By One” along with other classic Immortal material but will also be debuting a brand new song entitled “Fenrir Hunts”. The trio will also be performing material from King and Abbath’s collaborative effort I for the first time as well.

The new line up consists of :

Abbath (Guitar/Vocals)

King (Bass)

Creature (Drums)

The front man has announced that he has been quietly working away at new material and will be entering the studio this summer to record the band’s debut album which is set for an early 2016 release. Along with this the man will be performing over on our shores at Kentish Town Forum this September 18th. Be there. We will!
