The silence has finally been broken regarding the band and their return. Stating that the band would return this September Polaris was announced at long last we can finally listen to the first example of music to come from Tesseract.

It is incredible to think that Tesseract have only released two albums, garnering a following that would make most bands tremble this is potentially their biggest release to date. After the absolutely sublime Altered State the band decided to have Dan Tompkins return to the helm of singing with the band. To be perfectly honest I wasn’t as keen when I heard One as when Altered State was out. However, both records are poles apart and the band have grown exponentially since their inception.

“Messenger” certainly ensures that we are all going to be very very excited for the band’s new release and I can firmly say that my opinion on Tompkins has definitely changed. Though for a band like this the one track is merely the tip of the iceberg, listen and let us know what you think!
