Yes folks! It has been confirmed that Tobias Sammet and his flying circus are planning a return sooner rather than later!

The power-metal supergroup was supposed to all but over exactly one album ago, but mastermind Tobias Sammet couldn’t find it in his heart to put an end to the project that linked him up with some of the world’s most prestigious metal superpowers.

With the album ‘The Mystery of Time‘ released one-year after the band supposedly ended, Mr. Sammet has gone nowhere near the idea that Avantasia is at it’s end and announced that a new album will be out and on the road early 2016.

The new album has been given the title ‘Ghostlights‘, and will follow-up to ‘The Mystery of Time‘ concept and continue it’s story.
