Announcing that Cryptopsy would, instead of releasing an album be releasing a series of EP’s we get a teaser of the first instalment now.

With the decision to go slightly against the grain and decide to release a set of EP’s instead of a full blown album the band are in new territory. Also deciding that the new efforts will be crowdfunded, the band have currently got 4,000 dollars out of the needed 20,000 to deliver then entire collection of EP’s entitled The Book Of Suffering. Now we can see what we might be expecting with The Book Of Suffering : Tome 1 a small teaser has emerged detailing some of the material heard on the EP along with the creepy artwork.

There are the usual perks, with various packages of merch along with some more specialist one off additions, for 1,000 dollars you can have Christian Donaldson mix one of your tracks for example. Pretty damn cool of you ask me! Not to mention that if the band exceed their goal then they will be documenting their travels on their US tour or even writing another book of suffering sooner than we may think! We will definitely be looking out for their new offering! Stay tuned.
