Reports have come in that the Slipknot guitarist has been stabbed in the head. Slipknot guitarist Micheal Gordon Thomson has been stabbed following an altercation with his brother. In the early hours of March 11th the two seemed to have been involved in a fight.
At around 4am Thomson and his brother were fighting inside their home in Clive, Iowa. After the fight got more heated the two spilled outside where they engaged in a knife fight. After the police had arrived they concurred that both Mick (41) and Andrew (35) Thomson were intoxicated and suffered minor injuries, save for a head injury where Andrew stabbed Mick in the back of the head.
Currently neither have been charged, both left in seperate ambulances for the local hospital. Mick Thomson‘s condition is not available at this stage though frontman of Slipknot Corey Taylor is trying to find out.
With a multitude of shows coming up soon it’s not known as of yet if this will be affecting the bands schedule. Although it must be said they don’t have a great record with their luck!
More updates when we get them, we wish Mick the speediest of recoveries from everyone here at The Metalist.
