Ahead of their release for their new album, Crusade:Zero, Polish metallers Hate have released a brand new video. The song “Valley Of Darkness” itself is a pretty well rounded affair. It would be unfair to pigeonhole the band into the category of sounding similar to Behemoth. Although there are certain aspects of the song where this rings true there is originality in there as well.
In stead of relying solely on the crushing grooves the band employ some tactics that are more relevant with eighties bands. Including some sweet little solo’s midway through the song and just before the finale the band are doing something different. Even though they may have been around for quite some time now, the band are identifiable in their nature. With the opening riffs changing just as they begin to have the influence of Behemoth creeping in. The video itself is the usual blackened death metal madness, lots of corpse paint, fire and burning religious pieces.
