Before its release on Monday those that just simply cannot wait for the Reading band’s next effort have got the chance to stream the entire album. Already been treated to singles “Mercy” and slower more melodic “Leech” it seems that Dormant Heart could be their most intriguing effort yet. Always being a fan of Sylosis, there has always been something that was slightly lacking. However from the sound of both leading singles the band have released one of their heaviest efforts yet.

Previous album Monolith was marred by slightly fuzzy production in my opinion along with the patterns of the drums. Now having incorporated Bleed From Within drummer Ali Richardson in their ranks it seems that this has changed. The future for this band seems particularly bright however, very much being a buzz word on the scene at the moment Sylosis are just beginning to reach their potential.
