The wait is nearly over for Nightwish fans, as after 4 years the band have announced that they will be releasing their long awaited 8th album!

The new album will be called ‘Endless Forms Most Beautiful‘, after a Charles Darwin quote on his iconic publication ‘The Origin of Species’. The album is set for release on March 30th before a massive worldwide tour takes place in support of the new album.

The album announcement did not have too many comments attached to it, but the album creation process was documented over a YouTube web series that just recently concluded on label Nuclear Blast’s channel.

The band will likely elaborate on the new album after Christmas, and the upcoming single ‘Élan‘, but until then the band have released the new album cover for you to enjoy, and it’s looking pretty cool!
