Now that Kamelot have had a lenghty break, the band have posted a new album update just to let you know that they are indeed alive and kicking.

Though short and sweet, guitarist and main composer Thomas Youngblood released the post to confirm that the band are hard at work penning the successor to 2012’s ‘Silverthorn‘:

“Hi folks, I’m in the Stuttgart area this week working on the final parts of the next Kamelot album with Mr. Palotai. It’s going great and we have lots of music and ideas in store. Stay tuned for some more pics and video from the week. Cheers! TY, Greetings from the underground!”

We believe this is the first time in a while that the writing process has taken places outside of Norway where Youngblood used to isolate himself in a lonely cabin to write Kamelot music. Maybe a change in writing style for the band? We’ll just have to wait and see!
