With this handy playthrough video on guitar but also on drums!

Building up to the release of their brand new album The Holographic Principle this September, Epica have released a playthrough video for their brand new track “Universal Death Squad“.

Not quite like the normal playthrough’s the video itself is actually more of a tutorial on the guitar playing in the track meaning that you can actually learn the song and play it through by the end of it! Breaking each section down into bite sized manageable portions the video is great for those budding guitarists that want to get on their practicing.

Not only that however but the Epica’s drummer Ariën van Weesenbeek has also released a playthrough of the track this time on drums. Not quite as detailed as Isaac Delahaye’s guitar tutorial the video is still a great way to see how the song is constructed from perhaps a different angle owing to the focus solely being on drums.

Epica’s brand new album The Holographic Principle is set for a September 30th release via Nuclear Blast.
