The Dillinger Escape Plan as a band has always been primed and ready to go. From its absolutely mental beginnings slowly but surely the band have been maturing right up until now. On the eve of the release of their brand new album Dissocation the band decided in a somewhat shocking turn of events to call it quits.

When asked about the recent decision at their Reading and Leeds appearance this past weekend, frontman Greg Puciato very eloquently outlined why this will be the end and will not be something where the band have decided to stop things for a while and this truly is going to be the final time that The Dillinger Escape Plan paints its final painting.
