By many various bands.
Having teased their return with the mysterious flag and the instantly recognisable piano keys it seems that My Chemical Romance aren’t quite done with us yet. Not only will the band be releasing the album to commemorate it’s ten years with previously unheard b sides but now it transpires that a Rock Sound sponsored covers album of The Black Parade will be released.
Thirteen different bands will each have a stab at recreating, in their own way the magic that was felt on The Black Parade. Asking Alexandria performing “Famous Last Words” should be interesting particularly seeing as many of these bands put breakdowns in absolutely everything so we might be hearing The Breakdown Parade if anything. Either way it will be interesting to see what people make of it and is just another step to getting this band back on track.
Personally I believe the band will be heading out on a ten year anniversary tour perhaps on select dates to mark the album but won’t announce it until later in the year. We can always dream!
