At long last the seemingly endless updates from the Obscura camp have now ended. Earlier last week Obscura began counting down to something and now we can official reveal that the band have announced that their brand new album will be coming next year. 

Slated for a February 5th via Relapse Records the band have also released pre order bundles along with a preview of the album on YouTube. I have to say fully understanding how much of an integral cog Hannes Grossmann was to the band along with Christian Muenzner it shall be interesting to see how the record stacks up against the band fierce back catalogue. As ever there’s some sort of sphere melting or exploding, we wouldn’t have it any other way. 

Listen to the teaser below, personally I was blown away by the material, though it’s only a thirty second teaser of each track nowhere near enough to build an educated opinion.
