After finishing up their set at Sonisphere this Sunday, it was announced that Devin Townsend was in the middle of recording “a couple” of albums. One of which is of course Ziltoid 2. For those of you who are not familiar with Ziltoid and his caffeine craving antics, Ziltoid is a concept album by none other than Devin himself, having written all of it, recorded all of it and played pretty much all instrumentation on the album its a wonderous record very much at the peak of Townsend’s creativity with a wicked sense of humour.

It has been rumoured that it would out for a late release in 2014 and we can now confirm that Ziltoid will be returning in October. Keep your eyes peeled and ears open for this one! Whilst not only telling us of Ziltoid’s return we were also given the information that The Devin Townsend Project shall be playing at The Royal Albert hall on the 13th of April 2015.
