Just as they set off to support Suicide Silence on a month long tour Within The Ruins were travelling from their homevtown where it has been noticeably icy weather of late, the van that they were in completely lost control and crashed. Thankfully none of the members or the crew was hurt but the bus is unfortunately totalled. States guitarist Joe Cocchi :

“We rolled about three times from what I can remember and landed on the median. Our van and trailer are totaled.” he then goes on to say “All I can say is that we’re happy to be alive. I don’t know how, but none of us were injured. We’re on the road touring because this is all we know and love, and we want to continue. Help us get back on our feet by picking up a shirt. Thank you all for the continued support.”

This not dampening their spirits the band will still be a part of the month long tour and are aiming to make it to the third date on Friday 20th of February in Seattle at El Corazon. Although the band has said that picking up a shirt would help, they have also set up a GoFundMe account to try and make up for some of the gear that was lost in the crash.
