While Heaven Wept Announce New Album

American metallers While Heaven Wept have announced that they will be releasing their new album Suspended At Aphelion via Nuclear Blast on October 27th. Being the most ambitious album to date and not having the usual, already arduous format of long songs, While Heaven Wept decided to go full force and create a one track album. Distributed into the different parts, you could argue its eleven songs but they are all made as though they were to be a one song suite. With some highly regarded musicians guesting on the album, Mark Zonder and Victor Arduini to name a few of Fates Warning fame. WHW mainman Tom Phillips stated about the new album :

“While most of our albums have been thematic, this is the first time we’ve released something entirely of a conceptual nature in the grand tradition of Pink FloydGenesisRushMarillion, Iron MaidenKing DiamondQueensryche, and, of course, Fates Warning…and musically, this album falls somewhere in the middle of all of that with a touch of Viking-era Bathory as well.”

The new record should be something to very much look forward to indeed for fans of old and new Suspended At Aphelion will be released on October 27th via Nuclear Blast. Check out the artwork and track listing below.
