With the release of their new album looming ever nearer old school metallers Venom are giving us a taster of what to expect on the new record. Looking past the decisively metal album artwork there are elements of punk in the album, still Venom has always embodied the raison d’etre of punk but has thrown as metal twist onto it. New song “Grinding Teeth” is almost exactly what you would expect from Venom. Having Cronos on board the band sound more pissed off than ever. Guitar work on the album has seen a very slight exploration, with a nifty little solo coming through near the end of the track. A solid track that is a great introduction to their new album.
