Having slowly been crafting the new record of this year to create the follow up to 2012’s Eclipse. All was going well with parts being figured out and small ideas trickled into the media, then vocalist Brandon Butler decided to quit the band due to artistic differences. Finding a vocalist that no one knows anything about the band entered the studio to record their new album. With vocals being produced by Periphery‘s own Spencer Sotello, whoever this new guy is, speculation is rife that it is Luke Magyar from Arms Of Empire.  I would imagine that he can throw down the gauntlet, or at least Sotello will make him sound good!

Most importantly now that we’re all up to speed with has happened in the Veil of Maya camp we can now say that they have released an intriguing teaser. With a small amount of new “music” if you will the band hint that New Years Day will see the release (announcement, tour?) of something brand new that the band has been working on.
