Recently death metallers Unleashed announced that they have finished recording to the follow up to 2012’s Odalheim. Stating that the new album, Dawn Of The Nine would remain in the same theme as Odalheim. The album before Odalheim, As Yggdrasil Trembles symbolized the arrival of Ragnarok. In the traditional Norse mythology when the tree trembled the apocalypse would occur, after that three years of winter and then we arrive at Odalheim.
The album comes exactly after final track “The Great Battle Of Odalheim“, shown from the artwork (created by the legendary Par Olofsson) we can see that the lands of Uppsala has now been ravaged, where stands a lone rune among the wreckages of churches and burnt effigy’s.
Johnny Hedlund states :
The battle took place at Uppsala fields in Sweden, and you can clearly see the ‘kings graves’ at the cover artwork, which is present at Uppsala also in the future. You can also see the bombed out church in the far distance. Then, of course, you see the place of Blot in the front and the rune stone with the runic symbol of courage of the new dawn.”
