Death metal maestroes The Black Dahlia Murder have announced that they will allow fans to vote for their setlist for their upcoming US tour with Chelsea Grin.

Via Metal Injection, the band will list the old classic albums to pick songs to play from, including ‘Unhallowed‘, ‘Nocturnal‘, and ‘Miasma‘. This is a great response to a ‘play your old stuff!!’ cry usually screamed out by at least one person at a metal show, a shame Metallica didn’t have this idea for their By-Request set, and allowed a bunch of idiots to vote for the band to play ‘St.Anger’ at one of their summer shows.

The band released this statement about their upcoming setlist vote:

“We are planning on playing a set that is heavy with classic material on our upcoming US tour with Suicide Silence. We thought it would be fun (and informational) to do a poll through our pals in Metal Injection to see what you all want to hear on this epic occasion!!! Select your three favorites from each album and we will construct your dream Dahlia set. Vote now and come rage to the results on tour this October!”
