Yet another announcement for metal reading has surfaced, the conveniently titled “The Big Book Of Hair Metal : The Illustrated Oral History Of Metal’s Debauched Decade” shall be released August 15th by Voyageur press. Written by heavy-metal jounralist Martin Popoff the book will include a collection of anecdotes, pictures, quotes and more that encapsulates the genre. Whilst giving the views of countless producers, musicians, sound engineers, roadies and label representatives. With 580 pictures alone not only does Popoff speak about the well known established Hair Metal bands but also the lesser known underdogs of the Hair Metal generation. As well as how Hair Metal itself was established in our culture as we know it today, the scenes that it was most prominent up until its demise with the new era of grunge in 1991. Sure to be a fun read for any metal fan.
