What a tour this is shaping up to be! Not only have AMORPHIS and ELUVEITIE added more dates to their European tour, they’re bringing along so fantastic friends.
It seems that bands are now starting to look into the future with Amorphis announcing their brand new North American tour.
Finnish metal has made an astounding rise in the United Kingdom. A showcase of Finnish metal at Wembley in December underlined the fact that the nation now has a firm grasp on metalheads worldwide, with Amorphis pioneering so much in the local scene. Who better than to ask but Santeri Kallio of the band, who gives us insight into why Finnish metal has become so important not only in the UK, but worldwide.
It’s undeniable that Amorphis turned more than a few heads supporting Nightwish at their Wembley show back in December. The Finnish metal legends swiftly return for a full UK trek to present their latest record ‘Under the Red Cloud‘ in it’s full, vibrant glory.

Here it is folks – the perfect metal trifecta at the end of the year in one of Europe’s most celebrated venues. To say this was a big show for these three bands would be an understatement, but Nightwish’s final show of 2015 and one-off UK date proved to be an absolute spectacle and lived up amongst the massive Wembley performances of other bands past.
