Releasing their fantastic album Destrier last year we caught up with Agent Fresco on their UK tour to speak about just what a whirlwind year they have had. However the story of the record that has propelled the band further was not necessarily an easy one…

Artistic license can be manifested in many different ways. The poetic putting together of modern art for example or the manifestation of prose. Nevertheless there is a fine line between true artistic flair and pretentious flattery. Walking this metaphorical line with boundless creativity we see one of the year’s most intriguing band’s, Agent Fresco release their brand new album Destrier. Merely a snapshot of the creative genius the band are capable of.

Easily one the undisputed favourites of this year’s Tech Fest Agent Fresco won over our heart’s not just once but twice over the weekend. The first being their main support Saturday main stage slot and the second being a very exclusive and truly haunting acoustic set, which was to be one of the most moving experiences of music that the mass of Tech Fest goers would experience. With their brand new album Destrier set for release next Friday we were able to sit down for a chat with the truly charming Arnor and Þórarinn before both of these magnificent and truly honest performances. Speaking of the band’s new album, past experiences and what we might be seeing from this truly unique band that will very shortly and quite rightly take the world by absolute storm. Agent Fresco, we love you.

Having had our bones rattled after the performance of Heart Of A Coward, we then slunk off to the after party. Amid the beers we caught a performance once again from Sithu Aye along with a little help from Plini. Performing material from the split EP the two had worked it was undoubtedly one of the best jams I have heard in a long while. Complete with scetions of classic AC/DC as well! Not to mention the acoustic wizard that was Sean De Burca performing some incredibly dexterous acoustic material before the Plini / Sithu Aye jam bonanza.
