We’re really hoping for a new album announcement, but some summer dates in Europe are pretty good.

The famed alternative metallers have announced they will play some festival dates in Europe next summer.

They include:

Jun. 07 – Nancy, FR – Open Air Zenith
Jun. 10 – Paris, FR – Download
Jun. 12 – Prague, CZ – O2 Arena
Jun. 17 – Lodz, PL – Impact
Jun. 20 – Nimes, FR – Nimes
Jun. 23 – Madrid, ES – Download
Jul. 02 – Arras, FR – Main Square

There is more than likely a few dates to be tacked on to the confirmed ones so keep your eyes peeled!

But we are waiting for a follow-up to that Instagram post teasing a first album in over 10 years where the band seemed to be rehearsing some new material. It could finally happen, but then again we really have been waiting a long time for a new Tool album…
