Legendary alternative rockers Stone Temple Pilots, along with recent addition of vocalist Chester Bennington (Linkin Park) have begun working on new music for a new album.
Bassist Robert DeLeo tweeted that the band have entered the studio along with pictures of the band and Bennington enjoying themselves and preping for a release tenatively due next year.
The upcoming record will be the first without vocalist Scott Weiland who was fired from the band last year after clashes between him and the other three band members. Chester Bennington was later hired for the subsequent tours. The album will follow up 2010’s self-titled ‘Stone Temple Pilots‘.
