Previously we have been covering the slow burning of the new Steven Wilson record, so far there have been three in studio clips, showing how Wilson and band created the songs and a small interview. In which, Wilson revealed that like previous album The Raven That Refused To Sing will be a concept album.
Stating that new album Hand.Cannot.Erase will be based around the documentary, The Dream of a Life. Where one, Joyce Carol Vincent had died and no one had even noticed for three years. A great concept and all the more haunting in that it’s a true story. Now launching the website Hand.Cannot.Erase creating a window into the soul of Vincent.
Written as a form of diary, with selected days throughout the years chronicling the life and times of our character in the new album, it’s one hell of a way to create hype for the album. Simultaneously ensuring you a re constantly aware whilst also immersing yourself even more in the gloomy story so that, when at long last the record is released, there’s a lot more back story that would perhaps fill in the otherwise unknown blanks.
