As such a prominent figure and patron of the famed Sunset Strip bar, the ownership has commissioned to ensure the spirit of Lemmy lives forever at the Rainbow.

The bar announced that sculptor Travis Moore met his goal of asking fans for $20,000 to build the statue of Lemmy to have his patronage last forever. The statue will be made of bronze and sit out front the bar. The planned unveiling date has been tentatively set for May.
