Before their headline slot at this year’s Download the band unveiled a brand new video.
Having wowed English audiences once again over the weekend Slipknot have debuted a brand new video. Of the many tracks the .5: The Gray Chapter holds “Killpop” would be easy pickings for the title of single. One of the most melodic on the record the song deals with love but in the classic Slipknot way. A fitting continuation of Vermillion I would say, the video for the track is typically what you would come to expect from the Iowa nontet.
Moving between images of the band themselves in a deserted warehouse type thing, to a more arty representativeof two women painted in black and white split down the middle. Perhaps echoing the album’s front cover theme? It’s brilliantly executed and has so magnificent cinematography, like they did with “The Devil In I” Slipknot know how to make the most out of a minimalist video, not that make up effects with exploding heads was minimalist mind!
