Before Slipknot are to unleash their new album on the very much suspecting and highly anticipated masses, the band have confirmed that they will be returning to UK shores. Along with hitting up the UK in January the band will also be venturing all over Europe in February on the “Prepare For Hell” tour. Bringing along “brothers” Korn, sure to make all the nu-metal community and children of the nineties rejoice.
“.5: The Gray Chapter” will be the band’s first album after the death of former band mate Paul Gray (R.I.P.) as well as the first output without Joey Jordison one of the bands founding members. At present the band have drafted in a drummer and bass guitarist that will both wear mask’s but are essentially still not a part of the band, think of them as gruesome session musicians if you will. Having already released three singles now, the melodic “The Devil In I“, “The Negative One” and the raucous “Custer” last Friday the band will be unveiling their best kept secret next Monday October 20th via Roadrunner Records. You can pre-order the album here.
Tickets for the tour will be going on sale this Friday the 17th of October at 9 am.
