Musical virtuoso’s Scale The Summit release album details surrounding their fifth album, including s new song teaser.

Scale The Summit have spent much of the first half of the year quietly working away at their brand new album. With the announcement that long time drummer Pat Skeffington decided to leave the band, this led them to find a replacement in the form of J.C. Bryant. Joining the band as they were in the studio this had led for some different flourishes perhaps previously unexplored by the band.

Stating that the record will be released this September the boys have revealed the first track, sort of. Deciding to reveal the album track listing through the artwork, we saw a thirty second teaser of new song “The Winged Bull“. Created by British lad Duncan Storr, who previously created the majestic The Migration artwork, the band are in fact going to be revealing sections of the artwork as each day goes on. Until we will finally have the finished product.

Check out the first little snippet of new music the band have been created and see what you think! Mixed by Jamie King, the man responsible for their previous efforts and truly an esteemed progressive metal producer it would seem. “V” will no doubt be a cracking release.

Scale The Summit’s fifth album V is set for a September 18th release via Prosthetic.
