Not long now until the warmongers known as Sabaton take their ‘Last Stand‘. The Swedes step into new lyrical territory with this one though…
Musically not so much. It’s still your standard Sabaton, but with something a little bit more Japanese about it…and no they are not singing about sushi. Japan? War? You’ve probably guessed it.
The new song is about the last stand of the Samurai in the battle of Mount Shiroyama in 1877, where 40 samurai assumed the role of an avalanche and bouldered down a hill wiping out 100’s of enemies in their wake. Pretty badass.
The track is that catchy Sabaton chorus that will have you repeating and learning your military history as this band have been doing for the last 15 years!
