It seems that people seem to have their finger very much on the pulse these days. With nothing slipping past, from mishaps that caused Machine Head’s release of “Now We Die” and “Killers And Kings” to be pushed forward to other Apple screw ups. Now yet another one to be added to the list, is the speculation behind this years Mayhem tour.

Rumours were abound that the tour would be made up of King Diamond. From this supposed mock up of a flyer we can now see that Slayer will be headlining, along with King Diamond, Hellyeah, The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, Thy Art Is Murder, Jungle Rot, Sister Sin and Sworn In. What a line up…

To begin with this is a line up that spans all sorts of genres, from the straight up metal of Hellyeah, to the classic thrashers and eighties vibe of Slayer and King Diamond. I can kind of get my head around that, but then throw in the curveball of Whitechapel, JUNGLE ROT?! I mean I have to give to the festival, the eclectic line up will surely get a lot of people wanting to attend but it is a pretty odd line up you must say.
