Reunited at last yesterday Robb Flynn was able to have a one of a kind guitar returned to him after six years.

Having had his house burgled back in 2010 Robb unfortunately lost a lot of possessions. The usual kind of things that thieves go for jewellery was taken, cash but above all else Flynn’s guitars. Having four guitars stolen from him the man was able to be reunited with two of them yesterday.

After purchasing a small storage space for a mere $10 in San Bernadino, not only did she find herself with the storage space but with something altogether more valuable. Luckily one of the guitars had Flynn’s signature on the back leading for the trail of breadcrumbs to begin. Getting in touch with Bryan Kehoe from Jim Dunlop Strings the man then forwarded on the email to Craig Locicero, who Flynn previously performed with in Forbidden and slowly but surely made its way to Flynn himself.

The man himself said :

“I’ve had so many false leads over the last 6 years I can’t even tell you, literally hundreds, and while was grateful for everyone’s enthusiasm in helping find them, but I had kind of given up hope.” Adds Flynn, “you can imagine my shock when that email came through and it was really them! I was sitting in our son Wyatt’s gymnastics class waiting for it to start and I blurted out ‘HOLY S**T, they found my guitars!’ My kids laughed and said ‘what what?'”

A good deed for that day has been done, both guitars returned of which one was a Dimebolt guitar given to the man by Dimebag himself, perhaps theres hope for the other two!
