Well there is a little more to it than that! One of Germany’s biggest musical exports has had their album blacklisted for sale by the German government back in 2009 when the most recent album ‘Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da‘ was deemed unfit for minors.

They argued it featured songs about harm and had low moral standards in the tracks like ‘Ich Tu Dir Weh‘ (I Want to Hurt You).

The blacklisting was reversed, but the band are now seeking 66,000 euros in damages as sales faltered at the time. It’s a bit strange though why this is coming up after 7 years. Maybe the band are broke after not releasing an album in such a long time?

The band has been inactive for a long time, and it will be interesting to see the outcome of this law suit!
