France’s premium psychedelic jammers Domadora present their new video “Lacuna Jam” exclusively via It’s Psychedelic Baby blog. Their upcoming third full-length “Lacuna” is due out June 29th.

The band comments: “In this video, we as a band envision ourselves as those bikers taking a road trip at a frantic pace. Because life is weird and frantic. The dancers incarnate tamers (or “domadora”) who are hunting and taming riffs. The climax is the trance induced by the jam, everything goes wild from there. The “Lacuna Jam” video actually depicts what happens to us when we’re jamming all over the place, then the magic suddenly happens out of it.”

“Lacuna” is different from DOMADORA’s two previous albums and recorded far from the auditoriums of “Tibetan Monk” (2013) and “The Violent Mystical Sukuma” (2016). Domadora is convinced that context directly influences the intuitions and colours of improvised music. That’s the reason why the band has made the choice to record this album on an isolated farm in western France. Therefore, a very strong human experience and geographical isolation are on the list of ingredients of this album. “Lacuna” was recorded and mixed by Brice Chandler, and mastered by Kent Stump (Wo Fat) in Crystal Clear Sound Wo Fat studios in Dallas, Texas.
