Periphery Release Fourth Track “Graveless”

One of the most anticipated releases of the year will be an early release from Periphery. Their new double album, Juggernaut, works on two fronts. Being issued as two separate CDs for the one album, the album will contain a concept, similar to that of the classic ying and yang. Part one Juggernaut : Alpha has shown us the more melodic side of the band. Whereas Part Two, Juggernaut : Omega is a very much more aggressive and darker approach.

With this being the fourth offering we have had after “The Scourge” and “22 Faces” from JA we now see “Graveless” following from “The Bad Thing” in JO. A song with serious groove, some slight surprises come from the seeming build of Sotello‘s distorted vocals normally followed by a burst of energy, instead were treated to a tasteful guitar solo, before being led into the dénouement of the track where things get pretty heavy. As we have always said Periphery are ever inventive, never quite releasing the same material twice, although an ambitious task, the double album is set to be their next achievement in the modern metal world.

Both Juggernaut Alpha and Omega are scheduled for a January 26th release via Century Media Records.
