Belphegor have released new stills from their new video for the title track of their new album “Conjuring The Dead“, although its nothing very exciting there’s lots of blood, guts and of course corpse paint. Having released a new song “Gaslight Terror” recently their new video should be a great teaser for the new album. As ever with Belphegor it looks pretty weird and satanic, but hey if it ain’t broke…

Polish death metallers Decapitated have now announced the track listing for last week’s reveal of their new album “Blood Mantra”. In case you missed it last week here is the album art work and the newly announced track listing!

After their previous song we didn’t have high hopes for Darkest Hour’s self titled new album, although it plodded along it seemed to not go anywhere, thankfully we’ve now been treated to “Rapture In Exile” following the old patterns that Darkest Hour are best at, a thrashy verse quick fire solo and my personal favourite part of the song their iconic melodic death metal guitar work. Although Darkest Hour are playing a similar style to what they’re used to there is still a small element that this is new Darkest Hour, 2.0 if you will. The new album will be released on August 5th via Sumerian Records and from the sounds of it, it might surprise quite a lot of people. Its also worth noting that making your album self titled is an affirmation of who you are as a band, perhaps this is Darkest Hour saying that they will always stick to their influences but are trying new things, we shall see soon enough.

Following the recent premiere of their new song, The Contortionist will not only be performing with Periphery in the latest tour but have a headlining tour of their own planned. The boys certainly are having a very good week indeed. The string of dates will be coming off the back of the Periphery tour and support will be from Intervals and Polyphia. Although a small tour it will definitely be one to watch, this quite possibly might be the last time that The Contortionist will be playing smaller shows, as I predict big things for this band.
