Arsis Announce North American Tour

Following on from their announcement before Arsis have now announced that North America shall be the first to experience it’s 10th anniversary shindig, after having announced that there will be UK dates Arsis were tight lipped about anything else. However it has now surfaced that it shall be a MetalSucks sponsored affair and not only will they be playing their seminal album A Celebration of Guilt in its entirety but shall be joined by the hot to trot tech metallers Allegaeon and Exmortus, some of the most promising bands out there today. A fantastic tour with an excellent line up, we very much look forward to when it comes to the UK shores.

Yet Another New Darkest Hour Song Released

Not content with releasing two songs in one week last week we’re now treated to another new jam from metalcore maestros Darkest Hour. Following on from the trend this album seems to be taking of old school Darkest Hour that have begun to try out different style, “The Misery We Make” is a slow song for the most part of it but has that DH touch to it. Although very much more radio friendly than their last couple of songs that were debuted, that doesn’t mean that it will be a bad record though. It seems that Darkest Hour are growing up in their style of writing and their self titled album will be one to look out for. Darkest Hour is released on August 5th via Sumerian Records

Periphery Post Studio Update

Periphery have uploaded a small update for what has been happening in the studio whilst recording their forthcoming new album “Juggernaut”. Although we’re not exactly shown around the studio that much, we can see that the video is done in the atypical Periphery style, hearing riffs here and there, bass lines being tweaked and even Nolly Getgood playing some good ol CKY. As well as showing what guitars and amps have been used, Black Machine and Axe FX among a few. This is the first instalment of more to come so keep checking back to see what’s next to be seen in the Periphery world!
