Bloodbath Finish Recording Album No 4
Bloodbath have at long last finished work on their fourth studio album and will be revealing the identity of their new singer in the next two weeks. Although the band have been drip feeding teasers of who the vocalist of the band may be the real reveal will be soon. As well as the reveal it was posted on the bands Facebook page that the tracking for the new album is all done, including vocals by our as of yet unnamed singer.

The Contortionist Showcase Their “Primordial Sound”
Building more hype around their new album The Contortionist have released a new song and its probably their most progressive yet. “Primordial Sound” is most definitely not primordial in the slightest, being a rather complex song and one of the best the band have written to date. It appears to me that Language will see The Contortionist use a more mature sound rather than the slightly clunky sound of Intrinsic. Although as good as this song is, there is one thing I thought of immediately it sounds very much like Traced In Air era Cynic. The boys have got to be careful and make sure that they don’t end being a copy cat band and maintain an identity themselves. That being said “Primordial Sound” encapsulates the band at their peak, showing the listeners that The Contortionist have indeed evolved into the fully fledged progressive band they’ve been hinting at.
