Aerials strike hard with new single “Drawing Blood” and July Single Tour

Brisbane’s Aerials are soaring high today, announcing the imminent release of their new single and video “Drawing Blood.” Bursting with neck-breaking riffs and “Blade Runner” inspired synthesizers, “Drawing Blood” is the latest and certainly their hardest-hitting single. Wacken Open Air 2017: Our Adventures

Attending for my 13th festival, I can safely say now that I base most of my years plans around what has come to be the world’s largest metal festival, or from my humble perspective, Europe’s biggest party. It’s 75’000 metalheads, nearly 80 top notch bands, 1000’s of litres of beer, and simply a joyful occasion shared by all, no matter how bad the weather is. And for the last 3 years it’s been pretty bad.

Decapitated : The (Anti)Cult Classic

Decapitated. One of the biggest debates among metalheads, the absolute epitome of old vs new. Beginning at such a young age, these pioneers of Death Metal had a pretty rough and ultimately uncertain future ahead. In their inception the band would be more akin to the likes of Morbid Angel or Deicide. What would come next many deem as Death Metal royalty, Nihility, an album that is just as relevant to this day as it was back in 2001.
