Dave Lizzio has said, with a heavy heart that in reference to his recent departure from the band  “I know that there has recently been a lot of speculation, question, worry, and concern regarding my current position with the band. And to clarify, once and for all — I am very, very heartbroken to acknowledge that I am no longer going to be the lead guitarist for this incredible band.” 

Although there is no bad blood between him and the group as he says that he is still very much on good terms with the guys, although not specified we would imagine it has a varying degree of personal issues that he needed to deal with and consequently knew he couldn’t play in the band at the same time. Nevertheless the Nonpoint have found a replacement in who is now their new guitarist. With their new album to be released later this year it will be interesting to see what they cook up!
