Myrkur, the one-woman black metal band from Denmark has announced a debut EP.

The self-titled EP, to be released via Replapse Records will be available on September 15th 2014. The sound has been described as ‘brilliant’ and ‘ethereal’. We can say the same having listened to the new track ‘Nattans Barn‘ that can be streamed below.

Female black metal is not anything new, but this seems to stay true to a raw black metal sound though while adding the astral touch. A debut with a lot of promise!
