For those who are unaware Thy Art Is Murder released their great new album Holy War this June, when the albums uncensored album cover was revealed it seems that many people thought that there were some similarities… 

After the big reveal of Thy Art Is Murder‘s brand new album many people took to the Internet to voice their opinions about how Holy War seems similar to Most Precious Blood‘s Our Lady of Annihilation. Now originally there were no shots fired between the band, yet it was revealed that the band will be putting out a Bad Brains style t shirt that states “Banned from Disney” which after a little provocation got both bands to start something up. 

This is the internet, so whatever happens no doubt it will only feed the online trolls that are out there. Both album covers do share some similarities but to say that the band actually stole artwork I believe personally is a bit of a push. The concept might be similar but the execution is different, perhaps they were inspired by it? Who knows! Either way the actual screenshot of the Twitter shootout you can see below . Personally I think it’s a little ridiculous…
