With the speculation that Marty Friedman, would never say never to a reunion with thrash’s most angry of men, it seems that Megdave himself has been waiting to unleash some news on his fans. Following the departure of drummer Shawn Drover, then merely a day later the departure of Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick, along with the tragedies that befell both Mustaine after his mother in law was found dead and Eleffson’s sad news earlier this year. It must be a welcome change for the band and a fantastic way to usher in the new year.

For their New Years message the band posted :

“Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. 2015 will bring great news for Megadeth fans around the world, from the east to the west.“

After stating that Megadeth would indeed continue on with their, following not only a bit exodus but the very much underwhelming, Super Collider. The second we hear more we shall let you know!
