Having just embarked on a huge tour all over America with Voivod, Napalm Death were surely not expecting that boyfriend and vocalist in Maruta, Mitchell Luna would be proposing to his girlfriend Alexia Odette Ashton. The man got on stage and said to his wife to be :

“I’ll keep it short and sweet. A couple of years ago, this really amazing girl made it official here at a Napalm Death show. It’s the happiest I have ever been. We’ve moved in together and I dearly love you. Considering we’re at a Napalm Death show, I figured this would be the right time to bring this up, to embarass you a little considering this is our idea of a romantic evening together. Now I’m going to ask you Alexia, will you marry me?”

A lovely way to begin their new life together, engaged. After an uproar from the crowd as she says yes, Mr Greenway chimes in with the ever optimistic

“Well,how do you follow that? Well the official line is to say that the traditional institute of marriage is a fucking sham, after all. But good luck to them all the same. As long as you’re doing it for yourselves, that’s all that fucking matters in my mind.“
