After a typical dramatic long period of silence Luca Turilli has finally broken duck with a update about the new album, and he is extremely excited.

“Hi to all! Here we go with another update related with our new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY album entitled ‘Prometheus – Symphonia Ignis Divinus.’ Just to tell you that I recently went through the most creative and exciting time of my life. 11 songs were previously composed and partly already recorded. Right now, in the last 2 months, I reached the final goal of 20 songs composed. I never had so many tracks available for an album and believe me if I tell you that the final decision for the album sequence will be very hard, this time harder than ever before. These new songs will be recorded in Kempten (Germany) at the Backyard Studios in September and from that moment on, thanks to this official Facebook page, you will be constantly updated about what is going on. I won’t spend any further word about the quality of these songs and I will just re-add here the words of Nuclear Blast’s head of promotion, Markus Wosgien, who seemed to be really excited after listening to the demo of the first composed songs:
“‘Cinematic, orchestral and epic as only RHAPSODY can be. Probably more cinematic than ever before as in some cases I had the real feeling of sitting in front of a giant screen and to enjoy the vision of a big budget Hollywood movie while listening to an amazing soundtrack of the last generation where metal, hybrid music, symphonic, folk, opera – and much more – blend themselves perfectly! Honestly I don’t find other words to describe the amazing melodies of this extraordinary album with an outstanding Alessandro Conti, some of the greatest choirs ever heard in this kind of music, some great surprises and many songs that could soon become real hits!.’
“We want to thank Markus for his incredible words and let you know that at the end of the summer/beginning of autumn, our record company NUCLEAR BLAST will release an official news about the final and already agreed release date.
“Starting from September onwards, through this same Facebook page, we will start releasing exclusive video material, partly already recorded, showing Luca Turilli in his personal home studio while composing, arranging and orchestrating the new Rhapsody album. Expect also some more footage from the Backyard Studios of Kempten (Germany) for a ‘virtual overview’ on the whole production process. Moreover, we already started collaborating with our new tour agency Contra Promotion in order to plan the ambitious Prometheus Cinematic Worldwide Tour 2015, as we are really looking forward to meeting you all, beloved brothers and sisters!
