According to the band’s instagram post Krisiun have entered the studio to record their follow up to 2011’s the great execution. The legendary Brazilian death metal band will be recording their new album at Mana Studios with the one and only Erik Rutan in the producer’s chair. Famous for recording death metal icons Cannibal Corpse along with last year’s Goatwhore and Belphegor releases the man knows what he is doing.

Krisiun just entered Mana Recording Studios in Florida/USA to start the recording of the new album. The production will be handled by Erik Rutan who worked with bands like Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Six Feet Under, Hate Eternal, Malevolent Creation, Madball, Agnostic Front, among many others. He also produced Krisiun’ s Conquerors of Armageddon album back in 1999, the most successful album the band released. So be aware, more news and pics will be posted soon! #krisiun

Posting that the band entered the studio six days ago, we can see from another instagram post that drum tracking is well under way! I would imagine that we would be looking at a June/July release from the Brazilians. Even more reason for 2015 to be one of the best yet for metal.
