After having already released their first single, we are now getting yet another taster of Ken Mode’s brand new album Success. Scheduled for a June 15th release date the album promises to be a fantastic follow up to their previous critically acclaimed album. The song entitled “These Tight Jeans” is a a post punk rock tribute to the insanity of the hater culture that plagues our modern world!
Appearing in the UK at Temples festival, along with a small club appearance at the Macbeth in the heart of London’s east end the band are bringing their own brand of energy to the scene. A pretty abrasive opening with the manic yelling of “I would like to kill the nicest man in the world…” Premièring over at NPR the new song is a biting sense of energy to it synonymous with Ken Mode’s sound.
The singer states about the new track :
“Stop disrespecting each other and go run a marathon, do some push-ups, read a book, create something: get a life. Life’s too short. Guest vocals came from our friend Jill Clapham, and channels plenty of feel from 80’s post punk and garage rock coupled with our usual bite.”
