Having finished up their small tour in March, Kamelot wave goodbye to the Silverthorn cycle and enter and entirely new era for the band. With their new album Haven due out on the 4th of May, the band have decided to release their first single from the record. Having premiered the song at the band’s London date, the upbeat rhythms give it a fantastic drive, along with the melancholic words of Tommy Karevik. Sure to be yet another Kamelot classic, particularly with the soaring chorus, reminiscent of the classic anthems. Along with the pristine production that ensure that each instrument sings solitarily when needed and creates a fantastic sense of unity in the mix for those chest beating choruses!
Haven see’s the band change from the concept oriented Silverthorn, the overall theme of “Veil Of Elysium” seems to be darker than the previous material, yet as mentioned before retains that signature Kamelot feel. Listen to it below and see what you think of it yourself!
